Certainly frustrating! Let's try a couple things: shutdown your Xbox and restart, you may also want to disconnect and reconnect to the internet, ethernet is preferred over WiFi for a stable connection. After restarting, the update should start, but let us know if you can't! ^AM

You may need to try and repair the launcher and Microsoft store app. Open the Microsoft Store, click the three dots in the upper corner, click "downloads and updates" and "check for updates." The process should finish on its own but if you're still seeing errors let us know! ^AM
