Unfortunately, since it is a private server it could be numerous things causing the issue. Do you mean this is on a Realm or your own privately hosted server? ^TK
Great to keep in mind we are the support and not the devs so I am gonna try some troubleshooting steps with you! If you have no single-player worlds, uninstall the client and check your firewall/antivirus. This will rule out corrupt files! ^TK

If your account has been migrated to a Micrososft Account you will need to continue working with them. We do NOT have access to their account tools.

Are you talking about the Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Bundle? Who gifted you what, because you may need to reach out to whomever gifted you the games if it's not allowing you to download it. ^TK
