Unfortunately, you're going to have to choose a different username if the system is not allowing you to have it. We're not able to change the system to make it so that players can grab certain names if it says it's unavailable. ^TK

Can you give me a bit more information on the matter? Are you getting an error of any kind when trying to join each other and are one of you able to join the other without issues? ^TK

If the owner has any backup of the World on the Realm I would suggest uploading it to see if that resolves the issue! If not have the Realm owner reach out through a ticket to talk to our Realms team. ^TK
Unfortunately, if you have sent a ticket up to our support team and Microsoft and they can not assist you then there is nothing we're able to do on our end. They would be the ones to help you with your account through a ticket. ^TK

If you're on a Realm upload an old backup of the World on the Realm to see if it works! I would let your friends know that they shouldn't invite anyone they don't know to your Realm to avoid issues like this. ^TK
