I do apologize, but you'll need to continue working this out with Microsoft Support as we don't have access to their account management system. ^BT
Seems like you promoted them to Operator! Operator can't remove players or change the difficulty, but they can gain access to some slash commands that are listed in /help. ^BT

Hmm, in that case it may be that some files were corrupted during the last update. We'd recommend reinstalling the game. Before you do, back up your files, otherwise they'll be lost! You can check out those steps here:
