That doesn't seem right! Are you playing on Game Pass Ultimate, or do you only have a purchased copy of Legends on Xbox? If you only play on Xbox and don't have Game Pass, then this might be a bug. Check our bug site to see if this has been reported: bugs.mojang.com. ^FF

What version of the game are you running on your device? This sort of glitch generally only appears on older versions of Minecraft: Java Edition, but if you're running the latest version (1.19.4), then please let us know! ^FF

It sounds like you've encountered a known issue: bit.ly/3zlLKJn. Clearing your Marketplace cache may help; you can do this by opening the game, select Settings > Storage > Clear Marketplace Cache. This only clears cached data (thumbnails from content seen in the MP). ^FF

Is this only happening when you open up the inventory? If you haven't already tried this, you might reinstall Minecraft, but be sure to back up your worlds first, since these aren't tied to your account! Info on backing up your worlds can be found at bit.ly/3c9PK76. ^FF
