Hmm, that's odd. If the recipe was wrong, it shouldn't show the finished dispenser on the right. Does this happen to all your recipes, or just the dispenser? Also, what platform are you playing on? ^LK
Gotcha, in that case we'd recommend reinstalling Minecraft entirely. Before you do, make sure you back up any Worlds you want to keep. Deleting the app will delete all worlds unless they have been saved elsewhere. You can check out those steps here:
