The Demo issue typically happens when you're logging into an account that doesn't have a game license. Please make sure you're logging in using the information linked to the correct Gamertag and make sure you're using the Microsoft log-in! ^BT

The Vanilla cape will only be eligible for PC versions of the game. Unfortunately, console, mobile, and versions with GamePass won't qualify. Check out our FAQ for more information on that: bit.ly/3TtwrH4 ^BT

It may be that the World you're trying to access could be corrupt. When were you no longer able to access it and did the Playstation shut down properly? ^TK

To be able to get the Vanilla Cape you would need to have had the Windows 10 Edition and the Java Edition on the same account: bit.ly/3TtwrH4 You will not be eligible if they are attached to different accounts. ^TK
Make sure that you're logging in with the right Gamertag information and also that you're using the Microsoft log-in! Once you're logged into the correct account, you should be able to play your game like usual. ^BT
