That's very strange that disabling Multiplayer Game fixed this. To me it seems like your connection to the authentication server may be having a hard time so checking your firewall/antivirus to see if Minecraft has permissions is a great place to start. ^TK
Did you submit a ticket up to our player support team already to review this? ^TK

@LunaCupcake5 is on to something here! If that doesn't work I would suggest a clean reinstall as it could also be a corrupt file. Since an update rolled out the Firewall/Antivirus may have not allowed all the files to be updated properly. ^TK

Great to keep in mind that Realm Worlds delete themselves after about 280 days and if you haven't touched it since 2019 it's gone. From the FAQ "Once your subscription has been inactive for more than 18 months, your world will be permanently deleted from Minecraft's servers."^TK

Interesting! I see the Editions button on my PS4. If you bought it in 2016 it should be showing up for you. Unfortunately, if its not there is nothign we're able to do on our end to get it to show up for you. ^TK

Might be a great idea to uninstall the client and see if there is a corrupt file causing these issues or a block to the server. Checking your firewall/antivirus really helps in this space too and of courase, as AC said check to see if your multiplayer settings were changed. ^TK
