If you're connected to the internet it could still try to reach the authentication server. Go ahead and log all the way out, uninstall, check your firewall/antivirus, and then reinstall. Let me know if that helps! If not I'm gonna escalate you up to the team. ^TK

May be better to see if any of the community can assist since it is a private server. If I'm confused about your Realm please let me know. I'm assuming since you have 4000 active players though it is a private server. ^TK

Can you check to see if you're able to join any other 1.18.1 servers? If yes, the best option may be to try and reinstall the 1.18.1 to see if that assists on your server. ^TK
If you happen to have any packs or worlds you are not using, please remove them and see if you are able to load the World you are wanting to play. ^TK

This appears to be caused by the Mod you have installed. Mods such as that can interfere with the launcher. Please try uninstalling that Mod and trying to log in again. ^AC
