Are your drivers up to date? I would start there. Never hurts to log all the way out, uninstall, disable firewall/antivirus, then reinstall.
If that doesn't help with the crashing or you're getting a specific error, screenshot and show me. ^TK

Can you try to update your drivers and see if that helps or run as admin? I would also suggest turning off your antivirus/firewall while doing so :) ^TK
