If a Realm is misbehaving, can't be opened/closed, or seems broken in any way, changing the world slot can help mitigate the issue. Make sure to backup/save your world data before doing this. More info can be found at bit.ly/3B8XzEE & bit.ly/3ITFRH3. ^FF
