Connection issues can be frustrating, but let's try to get you back in your game! Can you check your firewall/antivirus for permission settings? Also, are you using hardwire or wifi? ^CR
So it sounds like you purchased the Java edition that was connected to a Microsoft account. The migrator cape is for accounts that were migrated from Mojang to Microsoft. Since you did not have to migrate, you're not eligible for the cape. ^CR
