As far as the crashing goes, are you playing on a Realm or a single player world? ^TK

You should never pull a power cord out of a gaming console or corruption can happen. If possible I would suggest holding down the power button until it beeps and it should shut down. If that's not the case reaching out to Playstation support might be a good option. ^TK
