Making a ticket is the best option to option which you mentioned that you've done already! Just to let you know, our queue is currently backed up. Do you happen to have the ticket number? I can check to see if it's made it to queue! ^CR

This is a known issue we're currently on! I can escalate you upward because we do have a few troubleshooting steps that may assist but the best option is to give the world a couple more tries and enter the Realm. Sometimes it just takes a bit. ^TK

There is no reason that your Nintendo Switch shouldn't be updating. If you don't have any single player worlds you're not afraid of losing I would uninstall/reinstall the client to see if that pushes the update through. ^TK
