Really glad it's fixed!! The rule of thumb for updates that I've noticed is giving it at least 24 hours for the update to push through and allow things to work as normal. I know, it's not the best solution but it does calm the tech anxiety that's something wrong. ^TK

Can you uninstall the launcher and then reinstall it to see if it allows you to open it up? It may be good to check the firewall/antivirus after your Windows Updated. ^TK
If you didn't get a ticket number that likely means the ticket wasn't sent correctly. Did it send you to another support player or did you get anything in the email you sent? ^TK

It likely means the name is unavailable and not up for grabs! Hopefully, your son Jackson can find some other creative spider names. Not sure if it's available but you could play around with Spider-Man and other variations. Sp1derm@n is another idea! ^TK

That's pretty strange! If you have any friends with laptops/computers can you try at their place? I know this is pretty inconvenient, however, it will rule out whether it's just your internet causing issues. ^TK
There shouldn't be any issues joining them unless you do not have PS Plus which allows you to play online with friends. Are you getting any errors? ^TK
