This means that you're logging in with an account that doesn't have Minecraft. It may be that you have a Microsoft account associated with the email you previously used on your Mojang account, or a new Microsoft account may have been created by you during the migration. ^FF

Do you know if they received a ticket number after submitting their support request? It should be a 7-digit # (i.e. 3456789). If they didn't receive this, then they may need to contact us again. Make sure that they use an email that they can access when filling out the form! ^FF
