Is it just Minecraft that the controller isn't working with? If you are able to use any other controllers, ensure your controller firmware is updated and let us know if the issue is just with Minecraft and no other games so we can narrow down any issues. ^AM
Are you playing on PC or Console? If you haven't already, please try seeing if you can start a new world or if the issue is just with the world upload, and make sure your firewall/antivirus settings allow Minecraft to read and write files. ^AM
