You may want to check for manual updates and install manually. You'll want to avoid uninstalling Minecraft but you may have some luck with restarting your console and attempting to download again, making sure you have enough storage. ^AM

Still running into issues? If you haven't already, please check for updates and manually update that way, and some users have reported restarting their Xbox a couple of times has resolved this issue. Let us know if that helps or if you're still running into trouble! ^AM

Sounds like it could just be a connection issue on your end. Try making sure you have your firewall/antivirus settings set to allow Minecraft to write files, and we recommend playing on a hardwire connection if you're on WiFi. ^AM
