That definitely doesn't sound right. Is this happening on any of your worlds/realms, or just certain ones? Also, can you let us know what platform you're playing on (Xbox, Windows, PlayStation, etc.) and what troubleshooting steps you've tried to fix this issue? ^FF

This sounds like a connection issue is happening. Is your console connected with WiFi or hardwire? Using a hardwire connection can help, as well as resetting your router. Let us know what else you've tried or if you're still experiencing this issue. ^FF

I'm not sure what you mean by free update, unfortunately. Your game should update automatically, but you may want to manually check for updates in your PlayStation library settings. Can you explain in a bit more detail what happens when you try to play multiplayer? ^AM

Have you checked your Firewall/Antivirus settings to allow permissions for Minecraft? This might be causing issues with writing or erasing files. A fresh uninstall/reinstall may help too. Let us know if this helps or if you're still having any issues! ^AM
