Can you check if you received a transaction ID from Mojang? If you did, your purchase was successful and you can try logging in again. If not, the purchase didn't go through on our end, so you can try again. Please see msft.it/6012ZjETw for more info. ^NS

Each Microsoft account can only have a single copy of Java Edition. If your Microsoft account already has a copy, unfortunately you'll need to migrate your Mojang account to a different Microsoft account. ^NS
