Do you have an older account? If so, you might have a Legacy (or Premium) account and may need to sign in using your username and password (instead of your email). Check this article for more info msft.it/6011ZTFNJ ^NS

Just like traditional console games, each device must own its own copy of Minecraft in order to play the game. Unfortunately if you wish to play on a different platform you will have to purchase a new license.^NS
