Because Minecraft for Windows 10 works with your Microsoft/Xbox Live account, downloading the Xbox app to your PC from the Microsoft Store and restarting Minecraft could fix the issue. If this doesn't work, you can reach Xbox Live Support here ...

Please try logging out and in from your Microsoft (Xbox Live) Account within the game settings, as well as force-closing and restarting the game application. I hope this helps! ^SA

I'm sorry we can't give a clear answer on this but it doesn't hurt to try! Both Editions use your Microsoft (Xbox Live) Account, but they are technically different versions, so it may be possible to play both Editions at the same time. I hope this helps! ^SA
