Alright. May I ask you to report your issue in our bug tracker? bugs.mojang.com/ so that a moderator can take a look ^DS
The skin files should be very little of those 1.5 GB. Do you have any old worlds you can remove? ^DS

Hi. The Realm owner needs to update the game (minecraft.net/en-us/article/…) and start the Realm. Then it will update. ^DS
