It’s incredible that US news agencies are not celebrating and holding up these journalists, but maybe they have stopped doing serious reporting democratic accountability and instead provide “embedded” PR teams to cover those in power.

Al Jazeera is a Qatari state-owned media conglomerate belonging to the Qatar government. So to call anyone who works for it a journalist is a joke. Mehdi Hasan used to work for Al Jazeera and this is expressed in his extremely one sided views. Which side? You can guess.
