Maybe we underestimated the amount of people who don't care to think for themselves or provide a better future for their children?
What do we call it when the people we elect disregard the majority of their constituents opinions and thoughts on let’s say something like genocide? Is there a difference between that and authoritarianism?
I doubt the former and suspect the latter.
