With one year to go until the 2024 election, @MehdiRHasan breaks down a stunning new poll: "To call these [results] anything other than savage for the President... for the Democratic Party and let's be honest, for the future of American democracy, would be an understatement."

F-k these polls. They don't mean a damn thing.
I am sure you’ll do your best to enrage people on the left over Israel which will pretty much guarantee another Trump term.
Let's be clear. America is not a democracy. It has been an oligarchy controlled by a few since its beginning. While there have been times that the government responded to some of the needs of the people, it was because they were forced to or lose everything.

What’s it like to be wrong and lose all the time? Oh yeah, you’re from the Middle East and the side that is always wrong and loses…
You know all the quiet good work the Biden Administration has done thus far. Instead of reporting on his nuanced foreign diplomacy, economic recovery programs, infrastructure rebuilding programs, etc, you are falling into that overpopulated quagmire of media sensationalism. Why?

As always, robust analysis! Perhaps Biden should step down in favour of a better Democratic candidate - someone who doesn’t come across as Israel’s lapdog

Most people don't vote based on reality, but on carefully cultivated perceptions. Democrats have never really grasped this and have always suffered for it electorally.
Also though:
What to make of the NYT/Siena poll that shows Trump up over Biden in swing states, including by double-digits (!) in NV (47-36). Could that possibly be true? Biden and Hillary won by 2.5. Sure, it's..possible, albeit unlikely. One key # seems very off. Closer look in a thread:
Come on Mehdi, the failure of the Democrat Party is your goal! You hate Democrats more than you do the GOP. You would be thrilled to see the country burn. You believe it's necessary for the left to rise. You and your Justice (not) Democrats and their Squad are not allies.
