Note that CBS has Biden +26 with age <30 while NYT has him +1. YouGov is an online survey, NYT is overwhelmingly cell phones. (CBS is national and NYT is battlegrounds, but it shouldn't be that different). I won't argue for either methodology but it's worth noting the difference.

One small quibble: I don’t think the problem is just that Biden’s messaging on the economy has been ineffective; there is also real economic pain out there that’s under appreciated. Employment and GDP aren’t the only relevant measures. Inflation, while slowing, has left its mark.
