Agree. Senator Whitehouse should be the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, not Dick Durban. And somebody besides Chuck Schumer should be Senate Majority Leader.

I think the GOP not calling out Menendez is along the lines of ‘see we are not calling for your guy to get jailed so why don’t you do the same thing for our guys.’ Or we like all corrupt people in govt regardless of party. Or we see an opportunity to get him over to our side.
