Is Mitt Romney a hero for standing up to Donald Trump? @WajahatAli says yes... if "he actively campaigns for Democrats and against MAGA... and do something more than this mealy-mouthed both sides false equivalence."

No - he was complicit and kowtowed to Trump when he wanted something for himself. They're not heroes - they're doing the job they were elected to do - if their prior support for Trump comes back to bite them in the a*ss, so be it.
Is Romney required to be a hero?

He’s no hero

He won’t though. This is textbook Mitt. Flashy press releases, letters and news hits, but shrinks into the rank and file when it matters most.

None of these Republicans suddenly sounding an alarm over what we’ve all seen for years do it while in office. Only when on the way out or needing to hawk a book deal. It’s like saying “I knew Pearl Harbor was about to be bombed”…in 1943 for a book

He's afraid of Trump's supporters. He pays $5K / day to protect his family from the MAGA crazies.
sure...that's gonna happen...what's the phrase? When pigs fly?

If Mitt Romney ran for president in Bidens spot, democrats would certainly vote for him. Hell, most of his policies still being passed.
