On Tuesday, the Biden Administration will reveal the first ten drugs selected for Medicare price negotiations – the first time that’s ever happened. It’s a move that could save taxpayers $100B. To paraphrase the president, @mehdirhasan says, that’s a B-F-D.

Hey @MSNBC when does Mehdi get a show ⁉️
Question asked Nera Tanden this morning on Morning Joe is why does it take until 2026 for Medicare drug cost negotiations go into affect? Haven’t Biden & other administrations had tools to prohibit big Pharma from price gouging if they were willing to use them? Serious question.
Why would it just save “taxpayers” money? It will save $$ for those who consume these particular drugs whether or not they pay fed taxes. One has nothing to do with the other.

We should be able to negotiate all drugs approved by Medicare. It is a huge customer!! If they won't work with us, we should take our business to someone who will!!

But what about big business? #BigPharma will lose out! But then most of the usual far right (#antivaxxers ) conspiracy theorists) will SUPPORT Big Pharma because capitalism is more important than health care for Americans - to #OwnTheLibs & because good healthcare is COMMUNISM!
