COVID contrarians claim that closing schools was a mistake, in part because of the impact on their mental health. But that’s not what the data says at all. @mehdirhasan speaks to @tylerblack32 about one of the most pervasive myths about COVID, kids and remote learning.

You must be kidding. Nobody is going to tell me what impact it had on my child because I was there. Never again.

You chose to platform someone who downplays youth suicide. It's amazing to watch you torch any shred of credibility you may have had.

Medhi Hasan, world champion of idiotic internet takes, is currently still defending school closures.

Mehdi Hasan is clearly compromised by the military industrial complex and should be ignored.
Someone hasn't seen the latest data on how kids are doing. It was a dumpster 🔥 and may have permanently damaged young students. COVID realists know that masks don't work and closing schools was bad call. And don't vaccinate kids against COVID. Dangerous and ineffective.

You people are a bunch of head cases - no one believes this bullshit anymore other than fear mongering Covidian cultists like you
Jesus effing christ. Are you kidding here, or just plain stupid?? In EVERY blue state that closed their public schools, the private schools remained open and held in-person class instruction. And the number of super spreader events? Zero. ZERO. Schools in red states such as Florida opened their public schools after summer break of 2020. The number of spreader events? Yeah, again zero. European schools remained open. The number of spreader events? ZERO, ZERO, ZERO. And how did our kids do on testing after these closures and "remote learning"? Abysmally, especially among poorer students. Closing the schools was the worst mistake of the pandemic. A grotesquely bad action. And you are ridiculous to even try to defend it.
