This claim is just ridiculous. Can it be that more than a tiny number of people believe it? Places like Detroit, St. Louis, Baltimore, Oakland? This is just a ridiculous claim.

Hasan got the quote wrong, but Boudin said: "pro-Trump jurisdictions IN CALIFORNIA have some of the highest crimes rates, and the highest violent crime rates" - this is still complete BS - Oakland and Stockton and San Francisco and Compton are NOT Maga strongholds.

There are higher murder rates in some Republican counties but property crime in SF and Oakland is off the charts. You are not likely to be randomly murdered but you are very likely to get ripped off in Oakland or SF
