House Dems are under fire for an AIPAC-affiliated trip to Israel, despite the judicial overhaul. @JeremyBenAmi says this is larger than AIPAC. "It's about the entirety of our political system being warped & our policies being warped by the influence of money in our politics."

In the 1970s, the world knew that Palestinian Islamic Jihad was a #DeathCult and #Terrorist group. In fact, it's only been 20 yrs since Jihad brought down the twin towers. #NeverForget #WorldTradeCenter People have very short memories.

JStreet and Jeremy Ben Ami contributed millions to candidates the last election cycle. For him to talk about "money in politics" is the height of hypocrisy. I want to know why Mehdi doesn't do a deep dive into how much JStreet contributes to political campaigns. It's a lot.

He's the pres of Jstreet what do you expect. Self hating JEW. They are pure comedy, and then going on Mehdi show only enforces how low brow they are.

It's all about the Benjamins...

He has no problem with CAIR? AIPAC is supported by American Jews. His beef with AIPAC is their success in supporting pro-Israel candidates. If he doesn’t want money in politics he can start with Citizens United. He is a sham as are you.

Replying to @MehdiHasanShow
The real question is why @JeremyBenAmi would appear on @mehdirhasan show when he is consumed with delegitimization of Israel? Maybe Mehdi & Jeremy are pretty similar.

Under fire from what percentage of the 435 members of the House? Both of you are in a silo. Both of you think an active Twitter response means most Americans agree with both of you. Mehdi is a hopeless tool of the far left. What’s your excuse Jeremy?

Ilhan Omar was smeared as antisemitic for making this exact point (“It’s all about the Benjamins”).

The trips to Israel, which have been for decades, are different from the PAC expenditures, which are new. Ben-Ami is particularly hypocritical because it was J Street that first merged issue advocacy and lobbying with PAC contributions.
