Yes, but you can't just say 'civil war in the US' and stop there. The US has a very extensive structure of legal entities with access to the monopoly on state violence. Muni, county, state and federal law enforcement. State National Guard. 1/2

You'd have to explain how a civil war could take root. How an armed group could start civil violence on that level without being arrested or killed in a few days or less. How a larger group could come together and take and hold territory with small arms...

The majority of MAGA wouldn't push a lawnmower. Civil war is doubtful. MAGA politicians have fooled themselves into believing the Proud Boys reflect even 5% of MAGA. More like 0.05%. But that 20,000 can do real damage in a short time. Most of MAGA wouldn't support an insurgency.
