"Trump not only refused to return the material but worked with his lawyers to obstruct justice." @renato_mariotti says there's no comparison between Donald Trump's mishandling of classified documents and Hillary Clinton's emails, despite what Republicans say.

The matter is in the judicial branch, Let the process work. Otherwise, opinions are irrelevant,
So DOJ asked nicely and he said no, I want to keep them. That’s the difference??? Seriously! Did he feel he had the legal right to hold onto them and that the DOJ of the next administration did not have the right to take them back? What was his reasoning???

None of Trump’s crimes are for accidentally having or "mishandling" classified documents. 1-31 are for Willful Retention of National Defense Information. Others are for Conspiracy to Obstruct, Withholding, Corruptly Concealing, Scheming to Conceal & Lying. apnews.com/article/trump-ind…

Bill Clinton had national security information in his sock drawer. Clinton never formally declassified it. When sued to return it to Archives, a federal court dismissed the case. Why? Because by law the President's mere act of removing the records made them his personal records.
Hillary Clinton was vigorously cross examined to satisfy the rigourous process of due process didn't she ? Put trump thru that same process and see what it throws up ..
