It’s always “might be’, or ‘it depends’, or ‘there’s no precedence”..,etc., in the US legal system wrt elections & obvious wrong-doing in politics. The US system’s reliance on honourable, rational & patriotic behaviour by elected members vs. codified laws will be it’s undoing.
