With the world economy in the balance, why doesn’t Pres. Biden simply take a page out of the 'Die Hard' playbook and go 'Yippee-ki-yay' on the debt-ceiling hostage takers? As @mehdirhasan points out, Biden may actually have a constitutional duty to do it.

It is a violation of the Constitution to default on the country's debt. This whole show of agonizing over making a constitutional call. Are they going to take defaulting on the debt to the SCOTUS who will rule we absolutely should have crashed the world economy?

Don't worry, Biden will announce on Sunday that he's invoking the 14th Amendment to permanently remove Congress from the debt ceiling activity. He'll dare @SpeakerMcCarthy to sue and have SCOTUS rule against preserving the global economy.

I just hope he has one of those good surprises that will leave these maga extremists in a catatonic state!!! He better have an Ace up his sleeve.
You want him to throw them out of an office building? Extreme, but whatever works right. 😁

Because he still wants to pay by the rules that the Republicans already tossed. It's frustrating as all Hell. Do the coin or do the 14th and be the Dark Brandon
