Maher doesn't get it because he lives in a privileged rich gated world surrounded by others like him but is convinced he has valid 'insights'. His Islamophobia, misogyny is well known, so of course, he gets violence and crime wrong and winds up furthering the Chicago trope.

Mehdi Hasan's show is trash. It wont be on the air for much longer. Poor ratings, no engagment, just look how little interaction it has on any social media and a lot is negative. Poor quality, poorly researched.
