Section 4 of the 14th Amendment reads that ‘’The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law…shall not be questioned.’’ It‘s difficult to read that as anything other than a strict prohibition against refusal to pay our debts. Just ignore the ceiling.

The problem Dems have is believing GOP will be reasonable, use common sense & work with them. We are way past that. GOP are in full coup mode across country & just keep obstructing & causing chaos. Dems need to get tough
