The First Amendment guarantees that the government can’t arrest or fine you for speaking, usually even if what you say isn’t true. But incitement is a crime. And you can be sued for slander (or libel if it’s written), so any public lying can have consequences if lies cause harm.
@WhiteHouse should lay down a marker. If @FoxNews loses or settles the Dominion case: Removal from the Press Gallery. No Government Official may be on Fox in Official Capacity. No Cable packages will include Fox News or affiliates on federal territory.
