"Messaging problem?" No. It's a credibility problem. After 5 years of russiagate, DNC primary rigging, pushing 3rd parties off state ballots, not actually pushing for popular policies...etc. Dems and Reps are just playing "good cop bad cop" and enacting the same policies.
