Were Democrats a little late in defending Rep. Ilhan Omar from the Right’s racist attacks? @RepBowman tells @MehdiRHasan the party hasn’t been “nearly as loud as we have needed to be.”

Why didn't the Squad say anything about Schiff or Salwell? When has the Squad defended anyone except each other? They don't care about other Dems so other Dems just leave them alone in their little clique.

Were the Dems a little late in condemning Omar’s antisemitism and hateful views and comments of Jews? Before you blame Republicans for your problems, maybe try to find a solution within your own party!

The party hasn’t bent backwards nearly enough to support Jew-hatred & Islamofascism. We must try harder.

Perhaps .@HouseDemocrats didn’t appreciate being placed in a position of having to defend an antisemite who weakly defended her #JewHatred by saying she wasn’t aware it was JewHatred. Nobody was buying that.

Here views on Pakistan and Kashmir are questionable. She is funded by questionable sources. Ilhan Omar needs to come clean and has not. People that speak to power should first speak to her!!!

It is exhausting and at times dehumanizing to be an outspoken Muslim woman of color demanding to be heard!

Racist attacks my ass! If they were being racist how come she's allowed to be on other committees just not the Foreign Affairs Committee. Never mind I know you're a race hustler. She's offensive and anti-Semite and anti-Israel that's why she was kicked off.
