When it comes to climate change, are we at the point of no return? Not exactly, @MichaelEMann says. “Too often, we make it sound like it’s some sort of cliff. … It’s like an exit off a highway,” he tells @mehdirhasan. If we miss an exit, “it means we get off at the next [one].”

No it’s a hoax. And hurting people everywhere. Been hearing about it for 60 years with no noticeable changes. Stop the lies.

Yea, but that’ll never happen because capitalism rules. We are totally fucked

Respectfully disagree. We cut the brakes on a downhill 15 years ago. Only place we will stop is at the bottom, and nothing you or I do now will change that.
Agreed. "It's never too late to do as much as we can" #ClimateActionNow

BS. If you accept that there are tipping points, that means we could very well have out-of-control global heating, among other things disastrous. It's not like falling off a cliff, but it could be like an unstoppable conveyor belt to Hell.

What if we never get off because of the continued minimization of human made climate change.

This dude made up the fake computer modeled hockey stick graph...right?
While I'm very worried about climade catastrophe, I appreciate not succumbing to fatalism
Yes, but hundreds of thousands of people don't typically die when I have to drive an extra exit to get off the interstate.

The road gets rougher for every exit we miss.
