"It's time for Merrick Garland to go. The message he's sending in not charging Donald Trump for January 6th is that it wasn't a big deal." @DeanObeidallah joins @MehdiRHasan to discuss the DOJ facing accusations of playing politics with its special counsel probes.

It took two full years to get to the point of prosecuting Nixon after the Watergate break in. This is far, far bigger. Why would AG Garland bring in outside experts if he's not going to do anything? DOJ wouldn't have announced investigations if not planning to prosecute.

It has been two years and nine days. TFG should have been removed from the White House on January 6th and put in jail for attempting a coup.

Sorry, no more patience. I agree with Dean that Trump should have been charged on Jan 6 soon after the coup failed. Two years and nine days and counting. We need new leadership at DOJ.

Biden, Pelosi and Dem leadership has been aggressive in protecting republicans from oversight since we took control of the House is 2007.

He should have been fired over a year ago. Something is very wrong. This must be what Biden wants. Or a deal was made with Mitch. It is almost too late now. Can you imagine what our congress would look like if he did his job? Garland will be responsible for our democracy

No, he's following the law because he has no evidence. You're an embarrassment Mehdi. Glad you're in the US.
I'm so tired of seeing this clip. It's such an irrational, unprincipled and uninformed statement. I posted a better one on my timeline. If anyone is interested please feel free to find it
Can you talk about WHY Biden appointed Garland in the first place and WHY Wray, who botched 1/6 and Kavenaugh, was left in as FBI chief??? This is all on Biden
