Said just right! Mehdi has done justice to the topic without losing sight of the reality of Islamophobia. Respect! @HamlineU Please fully reinstate the professor in question, Ms. Prater.

Hate to break it you, but your woke audience that watches MSNBC probably turned you off for this. I’ve had it with your type. You do nothing but demonize genius’s like bill Maher Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris who have been making your point here for years so honestly GFY

Drawing picture of any prophet in any form was forbidden due to the fact that peoples would start worshipping it out of their devotion. Like E'sa Ibn Maryam (Jesus), it started with picture, gradually peoples started building statues by their own hand and kneeling before it.

Well done Mehdi. I agree, this kind of framing sadly detracts from the real cases of Islamophobia that are enforced by a former president and at least one of our political parties. & Yes, the students' background as black, Muslim, and African deserves a much deeper conversation.

Women life freedom… Islam is executing people in their teens and 20s. Islam has banned girls from attending high school and university… and we are discussing Islamophobia!
