It’s not instability it actually shows that it’s functioning democratically. Or is only voting the party line considered ideal? Party conventions have taken just as many votes as this to choose Presidential candidates many times in the past only they shifted their votes/candidate
Reps have NO platform other than to avoid jail.
Instability? Try further proof of the whole lot being a bunch of toddlers.
I would submit the proposition that this is their plan. Destroy the Constitutional structure by making a key part of it useless, increasing paralysis & then chaos, so the only way to "restore order" is with the kind of "strongman" they adore, who'll crush everyone not like them.
