America is touted as being the greatest country in the world. But when it comes to employee benefits and workers’ rights, you’d be shocked at just how abysmal the United States is when compared to other countries. @mehdirhasan’s commentary on American exceptionalism gone wrong:

When compared to western countries you mean. Good luck finding more robust rights elsewhere.

Biden signs FORCED labor bill with 1 fucking sick day. SHAMEFUL! As usual, workers were screwed. No matter who is in power; it’s ALWAYS profits over people. Essential workers, but not treated as such. Can’t believe Dems pushed this abomination through. SO DISAPPOINTED!
USA is also lagging in EDUCATION

the only ones touting America as a great country are Americans. 20-something in education, healthcare, blah blah.
American 'exceptionalism' is America's delusion, the world knows this it's just America that doesn't. Well except for guns, wars and killing people ...
So, America is not so great because it is better at allowing economic freedom?
It’s only Americans who say they are the greatest country in the world, you’re actually around 17th.
As in college tuition and affordable drugs and health care we are the worst.
