Democracy is a form of government where the people have the power to vote and elect the rulers or representatives of the nation-so this goes away if I vote Republican? Really??

the Florida debate the opponent asked DeSantis if elected, would he serve the FULL 4 years, DeSantis would not answer, was asked again & the debate moderator scolded the opponent for asking a direct ?, he should have been made to answer!
