Ron DeSantis won by 19 points this week. That's big, especially considering he's dedicated his time as Governor to demonizing queer kids and lobbing Venezuelan migrants across the country. However, as @mehdirhasan notes, several purple state Democrats arguably outperformed him.

Both dem gov in MD and MA won by nearly 30 pts in flipping state. DeSantis by the bush principal. Re-elect even if a disaster. He not once said what he did, just others demons with no proof.
DeSantis won because he's done right by Florida. Their children aren't 2 years behind and they had minimal economic damage from Covid compared to Blue states. He appeals to moderate Dem's, independents and Republicans because he has some common sense.

You’re on point. The GOP’s barometer of how well they are doing are echo chamber driven. Their message doesn’t resonate with independent voters. They have another thing coming if they think RD’s state performance & his message will translate to national success.

All DeSantis had to do was redesign the electoral map, start a polling police dept., arrest black voters weeks before the Nov election, belittle LGBTQ voters and only count FL residents with Pic-ID among the COVID dead while using FED COVID funds on his reelection. ...

Sick of you gas lighting propagandist. He has not demonized queer kids or any kids , he fought for parental rights . You loser so called journalists always twist things and lie. Try being a journalist again instead of a partisan hack

And nearly 60% of registered voters in FL didn’t participate.
Why does the Left like to be fed their news via people with British accents? I swear, they subconsciously believe folks with accents are smarter.
DeSantis does not have to listen to this pos, who is a nobody
