“We have not risen to the moment at all,” @jemelehill says of journalists in the age of Trump and far-right extremism: “Everything doesn’t need both sides,” she tells @mehdirhasan. “I think our jobs as journalists is to be fair. Fair is different than objective.”

Huh? Only your narrative is ok? Guess Jemele book sales still slumping. Publisher made a mistake.

@jemelehill is not fair. And she sure as hell is no "journalist" . Give me a break

Fair to whom though, isn't that always the issue? Right-wingers think Twitter is unfair to them. I don't.
Amen! Well said. The refusal of some journalists to call out BS, or the insistence of some networks to hear "both sides" have damaged us.

@jemelehill is the fairest of all. Very very fair. Never ever been unfair to anyone. Speak up if @jemelehill has ever been unfair to you
And here I thought journalists were supposed to be objective not their perception of"fair" which is of course subjective. What journalists in the MSM need to do is report the facts, not condescend to the public and spoon feed them a narrative that lines up with their beliefs.

Shouldn’t you be interviewing actual journalists? Well maybe not since you clearly aren’t one either.
